The GRIP Chicken Challenge was a huge succes in 2016. They managed to raise just short of R115 000 and the money was used to update and improve the care room at Rob Ferreira Hospital. GRIP was established in the yer 2000 and have helped over 45 000 survivors of domestic abuse and rape since then.
Hilton Barnett contacted me and asked if I could photograph the chickens to use not only as advertising but to be printed on clothing to raise even more for this foundation.
We Are White River’s shop can be found at Casterbridge White River where these products can be purchased.
The chickens are made in community projects from recycled egg boxes and the paint or decorated by artists, creatives and then auctioned off to raise funds.
